Mitsui Outlet Park Sapporo Kitahiroshima
A large scale Outlet Park situated in a location of easy access from central Sapporo and New Chitose Airport. The outlet houses various brands ranging from international to domestic brands, brands new to Hokkaido, and also has a role of transmitting the food and culture of the region.

Tanuki Koji Shopping Arcade
Tanukikoji is an approximately 900m-long arcade that runs east to west from Nishi-1-chome and ends at Nishi-7-chome with around 200 shops facing north and south all along the arcade in downtown Sapporo. Visitors can easily walk between Nishi-1-chome and ends at Nishi-7-chome just by window shopping. Since the arcade is covered it can be used regardless of the weather even during winter when the ground can get slippery. It has been designated as an “all day no entry for vehicles road”, it is a safe area for families with small children.
The arcade, is a blend of various shops not only on the ground floor but up above on the 2nd floor and also underground, from traditional shops with 100 year history to fashionable newly opened shops.
Odori Koen and the surrounding area
You will walk this central area of the city surrounded by local landmarks including the Former Hokkaido Government Office Building (Red Brick Office), Odori Koen and the Sapporo Clock Tower.
Asarigawa Onsen Spa
Referred to as Otaru no Okuzashiki (inner room of Otaru), you will stay the night at the Asarigawa Onsen, known as the “Yuragi no Sato” which is popular as a place where visitors can thoroughly relax during their stay.
Otaru Sakaimachi Street Shopping Arcade
Otaru became famous across the country when a grass-roots movement that was against the landfill led the “Movement for Otaru Canal Preservation” started in 1966 and went on for about 10 years. On October 2nd, 2008, the Otaru Tourist City Declaration was issued by Otaru city, and tourism was positioned as one of the core industries. The focus became to pursue a “tourism that is suited to Otaru” that si citizen-oriented.
The “Otaru Sakaimachi Street Shopping Arcade Promotion Association” that is the hub of Otaru tourism is run by about 900 member stores who have stores along the 900m street.
It is not too much to say that every tourist that come to Otaru will visit the shopping arcade.
From glass ornaments to music boxes, confectionaries, sushi, historical buildings, shopping and eating out – there are so many shops to choose from that will ensure you a memorable stay in Otaru.
In recent years, increasingly more shops are able to comply with tax free shopping, enabling domestic and international travelers to enjoy their shopping.

Furano Marche
A space that offers Furano’s “farming and food” entertainment through delicious food that uses locally sourced ingredients. The facility also has a town information center “Information Frano” and serves a role as the town’s information transmission base.

Farm Tomita
Farm Tomita is famous for its magnificent fields of lavender and other various flowers. Anyone visitor will be healed by the soothing scent of lavender and forget about time passing away. In the winter lavenders can be enjoyed in the green house.

Blue Pond (Aoi Ike)
The pond is part of an erosion control system that was built of concrete blocks to prevent damage to Biei in case of an eruption by the nearby volcano. It is famous for magical scenery of its blue water and the withered trees.

Shikisai No Oka
The panoramic flower gardens of Shikisai-no-oka provide spectacular views across fifteen hectares of land on Oka-no-machi Biei. It is a paradise of seasonal blossoms from spring through to autumn in which several dozen different species of flowers and grasses flourish.

Asahikawa Zoo
The zoo has become popular for its exhibits that enable visitors to see each animal's innate attributes and their unique abilities and movements, by developing a unique method to “showcase animals' natural behavior”. Popular attractions include the Orangutan Trapeze, where orangutans stroll above the ground during the summer. Also during the winter you can see the sight of the penguins walking around. There is something to learn and have fun all year round.
