Momofuku Ando Instant Ramen Museum
The museum opened in Ikeda, the birthplace of instant ramen in 1999. There is an experience-type theater where a research booth of Momofuku Ando, the founder of Nissin Foods Holdings Co., Ltd., is duplicated and an episode to develop cup-noodles is introduced. “Cup-noodle factory” is also very popular where you can put a favorite design on the cup to make an original cup-noodle by selecting a soup and ingredients as you like (one cup costs \300).

NU Chayamachi / NU Chayamachi Plus are spots for adults that tackle visitors’ imaginativeness located in Chaya-machi district in Umeda. In April 2011, NU Chayamachi opened. In total, the number of shops reached 84. There exists a drugstore selling “Shinyaku” (meaning God’s drugs) called by Chinese visitors. The store is very popular among foreign visitors.
