Shirakawa-go Gassho-zukuri Village Houses【UNESCO World Heritage Site】
There remain about 60 houses of gassho-zukuri (the Japanese traditional style of architecture with a steep thatched roof) built 100 to 200 years ago. The houses attract their viewers in all four seasons, and especially in winter their viewers can enjoy fantastic snow illuminations with the houses lit up.
Historical Townscape in Takayama City
 There remain a street, event and festival with which visitors can experience and feel old Japanese traditions of the city, including the city’s historic townscape which is selected as one of Japan’s important preservation districts of historic buildings, a morning market and a festival called Takayama-matsuri.
Gero Onsen Hot Spring
The Gero Onsen hot spring has a history of 1000 years, and is called as one of the three major hot springs in Japan. It is loved by many people as a “therapeutic spa,” and is also popular among young women as “hot water of beauty.”
Seki Sword Tradition Museum/Gifu Cutlery Hall
 Seki produces the largest volume of cutlery in Japan. This is the only place in Japan where visitors can watch traditional old-style forging of a Japanese sword, and can see real Japanese swords and an associated history and culture.

This is one of the largest outlets in Japan. This is a facility surrounded by beautiful mountains in the Chubu region and having scenic beauty and excellent views, like Colorado in the U.S.A.

Osu Shopping District (Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture)
 The district is an active down town with an old Japan ad a modern Japan mixed. An event called a first World Cosplay Summit was held in the district, and it is called a holy place for cosplay (dressing in costume, esp. as a manga character, etc.).

Chubu Centrair International Airport
The Centrair International Airport is a gateway to the Shoryudo route. There is an area in the airport where there are many shops such as the “Chochin-yokocho” section which mimics shukuba (meaning a Japanese post town in Japanese), the “Renga-dori” section and Centrair Official Shop Sora Mono, and you can enjoy shopping.
In Tokoname City’s streets, you can visit Tokoname-yaki potteries, and enjoy walking a sightseeing course which is focused on Tokoname-yaki potteries and called Yakimono-sanpomiti.
